We are committed to full transparency and compliance with Alberta’s municipal election laws. Please review the contribution rules below before making a donation:

• Only individuals who are ordinarily resident in Alberta may make contributions.
• Corporations, unincorporated groups, organizations, or trade unions are not permitted to contribute.

• The maximum contribution is $5,000 per calendar year, per candidate.
• This limit includes money, goods, or services donated.
• A contributor may also give up to $10,000 annually in total to all local election campaigns across Alberta.

• Contributions of $50 or more must be recorded with the contributor’s full name and address, and will appear in public disclosure documents.
• Contributions under $50 do not require disclosure of personal information.
• Official contribution receipts will be issued upon request but are not tax-deductible.
